FBI discovered massive college admissions scam by accident, officials say

FBI officials say it discovered a massive college admissions scheme while conducting an unrelated undercover investigation. The Massachusetts U.S. attorney announced charges Tuesday against 50 people, including wealthy parents who allegedly paid bribes to falsify their children’s records.
