The St.Vincent Foundation has launched a capital campaign to raise $8 million to fund the development and construction of a new facility, the St.Vincent House, which will be built on the campus of St.Vincent Indianapolis. The St.Vincent House will serve as a home-away-from-home for patient families who live more than 30 miles away from the hospital, especially those facing financial barriers. Patient families with infants who have an extended stay in the NICU, and children receiving long-term care at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent will benefit from the St.Vincent House. The house will provide private accommodations for up-to 20 patient families, as well as other amenities such as laundry facilities, kitchens and outside gathering spaces, during extended hospital stays.
