Black History Month 2024

Aspire team members Betsy Hughes-Pearson, Denise McDonald, and Dr. Gina Forrest, share personal testimony and sentiment about what Black History Month means to them. These women reflect on the brutality their ancestors experienced, their love for their family, their education of Black History and the ways in which Black Americans have contributed to technology, economics and the social progression of the states. They share intimate details of their feelings about Black History and continue to provide all members of Aspire with resources for us to continue our own personal education during Black History Month.
