Dr. Alan & Diane Breier PARC is a full-service program for young people who are at the very earliest stages of a psychotic disorder.

Team members work to develop and maintain strong relationships with program participants and their families to support recovery and prevent relapse. They tailor treatment to each individual and employ many approaches including education, case management services, individual and group therapy, employment/educational services, and psychiatric medication management.

Team members also communicate with other health care providers and key community-based professionals to enhance understanding of mental illness among individuals outside the mental health field.

The Dr. Alan & Diane Breier Prevention and Recovery Center for Early Psychosis at Eskenazi Health (Dr. Alan & Diane Breier PARC) was founded in 2009 as a full-service center for young people who are at high risk for, or currently experiencing, the earliest stages of a psychotic disorder. A highly specialized clinical program, Dr. Alan & Diane Breier PARC Coordinated Specialty Care, is a center of clinical, research and educational excellence in the treatment of individuals in the early stages of schizophrenia and other psychotic illnesses. It is a program within the Sandra Eskenazi Center for Brain Care Innovation that provides early screening, prevention and intervention services for individuals ages 14 to 35 who have experienced a first episode of psychosis within the past five years.
