Join us in welcoming three young pancake experts to the IHOP family as we approach our 13th annual National Pancake Day on February 27, 2018. IHOP restaurants from coast to coast will celebrate by giving away FREE pancakes while aiming to raise $5 million for its children’s hospital charity partners – Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
In partnership with CMN Hospitals, IHOP called on current and former patients ages 6-16 to dream up their best pancake idea for the chance to cook in the IHOP Test Kitchen. Three finalists were selected for their pancake originality and inspirational stories, and experienced the pancake party of a lifetime at the IHOP Test Kitchen, where they presented their mouth-watering creations to TV stars JoAnna Garcia-Swisher of ABC’s Kevin (Probably) Saves the World and Mark Feuerstein of CBS’s 9JKL, as well as Darren Rebelez, President of IHOP. Hit play to get a taste of the fun with Elise Brommund, age 8, Starla Chapman, age 9, and Sim Scott, age 15. And don’t forget to visit your local IHOP on February 27 from 7 am to 7 pm to get FREE pancakes and donate to a great cause!
