Amna Ahmed, MD, is a cardiologist at Franciscan Physician Network Indiana Heart Physicians in Indianapolis.
Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, she received her medical degree at Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan and did clinical rotations at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, where she later completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Ahmed has been widely published in professional journals on a variety of medical topics. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and Women in Cardiology Chapter ACC. She also is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
