Have you ever felt like every mistake defined you?
That’s condemnation.
But conviction is different.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t point out your failures to push you away from God—He reminds you that your choices don’t match your true identity in Christ.
He doesn’t say, “You’re a failure.”
He says, “That’s not who you are anymore.”
Jesus said the Holy Spirit would come to lead us into truth. And the greatest truth He reminds us of is this: you are righteous, loved, accepted, and made new because of Jesus.
Conviction always leads you toward the Father.
Condemnation always pushes you away.
