Charlie was worried about his future when he was diagnosed with leukemia. But today, he looks forward to spending time with his family thanks to the blood and marrow transplant experts at Franciscan Health Cancer Center.
The physicians at Indiana Blood and Marrow Transplantation, located at our Indianapolis hospital, pioneered Indiana’s first transplant program for blood cancers. This groundbreaking work is being carried on today at Franciscan Health Cancer Center in Indianapolis, one of two cancer treatment centers for blood cancers in Indiana.
Our unique outpatient approach to the treatment of leukemias, lymphoma and other blood disorders allows our patients to receive treatment during the day and to return home in the evening, maintaining a better quality of life on the journey back to wellness.
“Now I see every day as precious.”
