This is one of my favorite videos I have done. I film a CD inside a microwave in high definition and 1,000 fps slow motion. Normally you cannot get get footage of anything in a microwave because the grating of the microwave blocks the view and if you put a camera in a microwave under normal conditions it will destroy the camera almost instantly. But I have developed a method to film objects in a microwave! This is some amazing footage of what happens when you put a CD in a microwave. First I show in real time the sparks that occur. Then I show you in slow motion the amazing sparking pattern that occurs. The sparks blink with a periodicity of about 7 thousandths of a second as the voltage builds up on the sputtered aluminum on the polycarbonate.
