In this video I show you what happens when you drop sodium metal in elephant toothpaste! The elephant toothpaste experiment creates tiny bubbles of oxygen when the catalyst is added, then when you put in sodium metal, the metal creates hydrogen gas! This gas can then react with the oxygen to create a very hot fire! Watch this amazing reaction happen when I drop sodium in elephant toothpaste!

In this video I see what happens when you put sodium metal on ice. First I test it with regular ice then I test it with ice that is as cold as liquid nitrogen in order to freeze the water layer on top of ice. The results are very neat and always fun to watch!
