I certainly wasn’t expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed.” While Janelle teased that the latest, secret chapter has been “pretty wonderful,” she was ready to reveal the news to the world, adding, “Everyone please meet Pete.” Alongside the sweet message, the 57-year-old shared a selfie of herself and Pete embracing while posing together in front of a river. Hayden Panettiere’s Director Says She Was “Not OK” on Breed Apart Set | E! News

After Hayden Panettiere died Aug. 16, director Griff Furst—who worked with her on A Breed Apart—recalled that the energy in her room on set was “pretty dark.” In an Aug. 17 Instagram video, Furst reflected on working with Panettiere on the 2025 film, saying the movie’s security team told him “something was off” after picking the actress up from the airport. When he went to greet her, Furst recalled that her boyfriend Brian—seemingly referring to her on-and-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson—opened the door. Furst described Panettiere as “incredibly sweet and gracious and excited to work,” but said she was “not OK.” While the director said he would not get into the details of why she seemed off, he added that it was “pretty clear” to him that something was wrong. Still, Furst said Panettiere’s light continued to shine through, remembering the Nashville star as “a force to be reckoned with.” He added, “That was definitely still in there. After the Nashville star died Aug. 16 at age 36, South Carolina authorities shared details about her final moments in 911 dispatch calls obtained by People and TMZ. In the audio, the dispatcher directed medics to Panettiere’s Greenville home, with an Emergency Medical Service worker reporting “overdose,” before adding, “CPR in progress.” When officers and EMS personnel responded to a call placed by the actress’ acquaintance, they found an unresponsive woman at approximately 1:51 p.m. local time. “Upon arrival, medical assistance was administered,” officials noted a statement to E! Diddy Placed in Solitary Confinement After Prison Fight | E! News

Sean “Diddy” Combs is spending some alone time in prison. As the rap mogul continues to serve his four-year sentence for prostitution-related charges, he was sent to solitary confinement after being involved in a fight at the New Jersey federal prison, according to multiple outlets citing sources with knowledge of the matter. The altercation allegedly occurred when another inmate at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution made a remark to Combs, leading to the fight and the rapper’s subsequent placement in solitary confinement, one source told ABC News. E! News has reached out to reps for Combs and Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution for comment and has not yet heard back. A rep for the low-security prison has indicated they would not be providing additional information about the incident. “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody,” the spokesperson said in a statement to TMZ. “Such information would not be available for the public domain.” The fight comes more than one month after the 56-year-old’s release date was moved up for the fourth time, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records viewed by E!
