Nearly four years after the ‘Sister Wives’ star split from Kody Brown following almost 30 years together, Janelle hard launched her new boyfriend, whom she simply referred to as Pete. “Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared,” Janelle posted to Instagram Aug. 18. “I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed.” While Janelle teased that the latest, secret chapter has been “pretty wonderful,” she was ready to reveal the news to the world, adding, “Everyone please meet Pete.” Alongside the sweet message, the 57-year-old shared a selfie of herself and Pete embracing while posing together in front of a river. Indeed, Janelle’s hard launch certainly came as a surprise as the TLC star previously admitted she wasn’t looking for love. “I’m not really interested in getting married again or even really dating at this stage,” she shared on the Sibling Revelry podcast in 2025. In a newly unsealed grand jury indictment, Nick Reiner is alleged to have laid in wait before murdering his parents Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner at the Brentwood, Calif., home on Dec. 14. The indictment, publicly released Aug. 12, alleges the 32-year-old “personally used a deadly or dangerous weapon,” identified as a knife, and includes special circumstance allegations of multiple murders and murder by means of lying in wait. Nick pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder after the indictment was unsealed, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman. He also faces a special allegation that he personally used a knife in the killings. If convicted as charged, Nick could face life in state prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty, though prosecutors have not yet decided whether to seek the death penalty. As the rap mogul continues to serve his four-year sentence for prostitution-related charges, he was sent to solitary confinement after being involved in a fight at the New Jersey federal prison, according to multiple outlets citing sources with knowledge of the matter. The altercation allegedly occurred when another inmate at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution made a remark to Combs, leading to the fight and the rapper’s subsequent placement in solitary confinement, one source told ABC News. E! News has reached out to reps for Combs and Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution for comment and has not yet heard back. A rep for the low-security prison has indicated they would not be providing additional information about the incident. “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody,” the spokesperson said in a statement to TMZ. “Such information would not be available for the public domain.” The fight comes more than one month after the 56-year-old’s release date was moved up for the fourth time, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records viewed by E! Two days after James Handy was fatally stabbed outside a home in Tarzana, Calif. on June 3, Michael Gledhill, the son of Handy’s girlfriend, was charged with his murder. Gledhill was charged with fatally stabbing the actor outside his mother’s home in Tarzana, Calif., on June 3, according to a June 5 press release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. The 44-year-old was charged with one count of murder “with a special allegation that he personally used a deadly weapon, a knife.” L.A. County District Attorney Nathan J. UPDATE: The ‘Virgin River’ actor has been confirmed dead, as investigators said they found his remains in Lions Bay, British Columbia, Canada, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) per CBC. He was 45. According to the Squamish Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the actor was reported missing on May 18. The following day, authorities shared in a press release that they were “very concerned for Stewart’s health and well-being” after he was last seen at his home in Lions Bay, British Columbia, Canada on May 15.
