Two lion cubs escaping from the dockside are befriended by 4 year old Marcus. On route to the Circus Maximus to join their mother, who along with other lions is being prepared to eat Christians in Nero’s games, they lead Ben and Marcus to the dreaded Circus Maximus where assisted by a Christian circus owner and a Christian sea captain they rescue both the mother lion and a group of her intended victims. Meanwhile the stores of the lost sheep, the deaf and dumb man and the window’s mite are told.
